I've been drawing cute little illustrations of femme characters for a couple of years, and was recently approached by Hannah from A Cup Of Subtle Tea to do a custom illustration as a Christmas present for her fiance.
"For Christmas I tried to do something sweet for James that could be used in our house as decoration at some point. I have had a love for Lauren's work since the moment I found her blog so when I decided I wanted a portrait of us I knew exactly who to go to!
Just from doing some sponsor swaps and being blog friends in general I knew that Lauren was an doll. She is kind, encouraging, supportive, and all around a wonderful person. I had no doubts that working with her would be a delight but even still I couldn't believe how easy and fun it was! I sent over some photographs that best resembled how I wanted us to look as well as a little bit about each of us and she took care of the rest! Once she had a draft she sent it over for me to look at, then I was able to work with her on a couple aspects, and TA-DA!" - Hannah
